The premise

Because every product, brand, business and career exists within a story.

When the story changes, new possibilities emerge.

The workshop

One day workshop.
Fresh perspectives.
Actionable outcomes.

Developed by STORYFWRD, our one-day innovation workshop is designed to help teams break out of familiar thinking and develop culturally relevant strategies and solutions around a real challenge.

A focused, collaborative day built around a challenge that matters to your business.

Together, we explore the cultural shifts, human behaviors and emerging patterns shaping your world. We challenge assumptions, make unexpected connections and apply proven creative techniques directly to your business, brand or industry.

Drawing on creative methods from the entertainment world, we bring narrative thinking, audience and consumer psychology, and concept development into new business contexts—because innovation happens when different disciplines collide.

The facilitated sessions are designed to give everyone in the room a voice, bringing together perspectives that don’t always get heard in the usual day-to-day environment.

The result is not only fresh thinking, but renewed energy, stronger collaboration and a shared sense of possibility. By solving something meaningful together, teams don’t simply talk about culture—they actively build it.

By the end of this highly collaborative day, your team leaves energized and aligned around a shared growth narrative, with fresh thinking on how to stay relevant and clear next steps to move forward.

About

My career has been built around creating, developing, adapting and positioning concepts for audiences around the world.

Stefanie Gelinas

That means constantly reading culture, understanding human behavior, recognizing patterns, finding unexpected connections and turning an initial thought into something compelling enough to make people care.

Over time, I realized that the creative disciplines behind this process could be applied far beyond entertainment.

To brands.To products.To businesses.To teams.To industries facing disruption.And to people navigating change.

That’s where StoryThinking began.

I created the StoryThinking Method to bring those creative tools into the room and apply them to real-world challenges.

Workshops can be facilitated in English, French or German.

I don’t come in to tell your team what to think.

I lead a process that gives every voice a place, challenges familiar thinking and turns collective intelligence into ideas that move the business forward.

Who it’s for

Built for organizations that need to understand what people care about.

StoryFWRD works with companies whose success depends on understanding what people care about, and turning that understanding into new ideas, experiences, content or opportunities.

The workshops are particularly valuable for:

01

Media, entertainment and production companies developing new formats, franchises or creative IP.

02

Consumer brands looking to become more culturally relevant or explore content and storytelling.

03

Creative, marketing and innovation teams searching for new territories.

04

Leadership teams navigating a shift in audience behavior, technology or business identity.

05

Organizations that need to move from a broad challenge to a focused set of actionable ideas.

You don’t need to arrive with a brief fully formed. Sometimes defining the right question is the first part of the work.

Built around your business

No two StoryFWRD workshops are the same.

Each engagement begins with a focused discovery and research phase, typically two to four weeks before the session.

During that period, I:

01

Meet with key stakeholders to understand the business, the challenge and the desired outcome.

02

Review relevant strategies, projects, research and existing ideas.

03

Identify cultural shifts, audience behaviors and international examples that could unlock new thinking.

04

Define the central creative question and tailor the workshop methodology around it.

05

Align with the team on participants, priorities and what success should look like.

The result is a workshop grounded in your reality, but designed to take the team beyond its usual frame of reference.

Clients

Creative thinking informed by work with organizations and audiences around the world.

The StoryThinking Method

Three moves.
One method.

Explore each stage of the StoryThinking Method.

Built around your challenge

There is no generic StoryThinking workshop.

Before the session, I work with you to identify the question worth solving and research the cultural landscape around it.

Stefanie Gelinas

That might be:

01

How could we connect with a new generation of consumers?

02

What could the next expression of our brand look like?

03

Where are the unexpected growth opportunities in our category?

04

How could we reinvent an existing product, service or experience?

05

How could we build a stronger culture as our company changes?

06

How could we give employees a meaningful role in shaping what comes next?

That challenge becomes the creative brief for the day.

What happens in the room

Two applications.
